Maintenance & refreshes
Interior refreshes · Ontario
Interior refreshes, without the renovation.
New paint, floors, ceilings, lighting and washrooms for offices, retail stores, restaurants, clinics and common areas — done after hours or between close and open, so the space keeps working. One site or a whole portfolio, on one invoice.
What a refresh covers
Self-performed by our own crews.
Painting
Walls, doors, frames, bulkheads and back-of-house — touch-ups to full repaints.
Flooring
Removal, repair and installation, phased by zone so the space stays usable.
Ceilings and drywall
Ceiling tile replacement, patching and board replacement, finished to paint-ready.
Lighting
Relamping, fixture repairs and replacement, and exit and emergency sign service.
Fixtures and millwork
Mirrors, signage, tables, fixtures and millwork mounting, doors and hardware.
Clean handover
High dusting, floor scrubbing and post-work cleaning before the space reopens.
Plumbing, HVAC and electrical items in a refresh — washroom fixtures, diffusers, circuits — are handled by vetted partners we manage, so the work order still closes with us.
Where we refresh
Spaces that can't close for a renovation.
Retail stores
Overnight, between close and open — see store refreshes.
Offices
Evenings and weekends, floor by floor, or between tenancies.
Common areas
Lobbies, corridors and washrooms for property managers, with tenants in place.
Restaurants and clinics
Inside closure windows, with dust control around food and patients.

- Needs drawings and, usually, a building permit
- Run as a construction project — construction management or general contracting
- Plan it with the fit-out cost estimator
FAQ
Interior refresh questions.
What is a commercial interior refresh?
An interior refresh updates a space's finishes — paint, flooring, ceilings, lighting, fixtures and washrooms — without changing its layout or building services, so it usually needs no permit or design drawings.
Can you refresh a space while it stays open?
Yes. We work after hours or between close and open, zone by zone, with containment, and clean the space before it reopens.
Do you refresh offices and common areas, not just stores?
Yes — offices, lobbies, corridors and washrooms for property managers, restaurants and clinics, as well as retail stores.
Can you refresh several sites at once?
Yes. Multi-site refreshes run as a program with one contract and one invoice format — see multi-site programs.
