Privacy policy
How MarLi Construction ("MARLICON", "we") handles personal information collected through marlicon.ca. Last updated .
What we collect
- What you send us. When you use the project request form or email us, we receive what you provide — typically your name, company, email, phone number, site location and project details.
- Basic server data. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site.
- Meeting bookings. If you book a meeting, Google Calendar's appointment scheduling collects the details you enter, and Google's privacy policy applies to that page.
- Privacy-friendly analytics. If enabled, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without tracking you across sites.
What we don't do
- We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and the site sets no cookies of its own.
- We don't sell or rent personal information.
- The planning tools calculate in your browser. If you request a PDF report, we receive your email address and the report's results so we can send it and follow up about your project. You can unsubscribe at any time.
How we use it
To respond to your request, prepare pricing and proposals, deliver and invoice work, and meet legal and insurance obligations. We use your contact details only for the business relationship you started.
Who it's shared with
Only service providers that help us run the business — for example our email provider and website host — and trade partners when needed to price or complete your work. They may process data outside Canada, including in the United States.
How long we keep it
As long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, and as required for legal, tax and warranty records.
Your rights
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent for future use. Email contact@marlicon.ca. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
